About the Journal
Malumat is a peer-reviewed journal published with the aim of bringing together original research in the field of social sciences with the scientific world, disseminating academic thought and encouraging knowledge production. The main purpose of the journal is to prepare the ground for theoretical and applied studies that address social structures, human behaviour, cultural dynamics and political processes from a multidimensional perspective.
The journal prioritises critical, innovative and analytical studies that go beyond classical approaches by focusing on interdisciplinary interaction. Accordingly, Malumat welcomes contributions from the main fields of social sciences such as economics, sociology, psychology, political science, public administration, anthropology, history, law, communication, philosophy and cultural studies. In addition, studies that bridge these disciplines, thematic dossiers and articles that offer solutions to current problems are also considered within the scope of the journal.
The journal aims to strengthen the relationship between academia and the field of practice by including theoretical discussions as well as field research, case studies, historical analyses, methodological contributions and policy-oriented studies. Malumat, which advocates the democratisation of access to information, presents all the content it publishes in this framework with an open access policy and adopts the principle of highlighting the aspect of social sciences that serves social benefit.
In addition, Malumat sees it as an important mission to support the work of young researchers and early career academics and to bring them into the world of scientific publishing. In this direction, it aims to create a qualified knowledge production environment both nationally and internationally by encouraging academic diversity and participation.
