Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Authors planning to submit an article to the Malumat journal are advised to carefully review the journal's publication principles, ethical policy, and writing guidelines. This information can be easily accessed under the headings "About the Journal" and "Submission Guidelines."
In order to submit an article, authors must register in the system and create a user account. The registration process can be completed quickly through the "Register" link on the homepage. After the registration process is completed, the article submission process can be initiated by accessing the system through the "Member Login" section.
The submission process is carried out in five steps according to the guidelines provided in the system: article information, author(s) information, file upload, additional declarations, and submission confirmation. If all stages are completed without any omissions, the work will be subjected to the editorial pre-evaluation process.
Works submitted to our journal are only accepted through the online system. Files sent via email will not be considered for review.
Article Submission Checklist
The author(s) should check the following points before submission:
• There is no prior publication of the article and no submission for review to another journal.
• The text complies with the writing rules and formal format of the Malumat journal.
• The study has been prepared within the framework of scientific ethical rules; it does not contain plagiarism.
• The abstract and keywords have been presented in both Turkish and English.
• All author information has been entered into the system completely and accurately.
• The bibliography and in-text citations have been arranged in accordance with APA 7 style.
• We have uploaded the ethics committee approval and conflict of interest statement to the system, if applicable.
• Author contribution statement and other necessary documents (if any) have been added.

Malumat respects the privacy of users' personal data and places great importance on the protection of this data. The names, titles, institutional information, and email addresses provided by authors, reviewers, and readers who register on the journal's website are used solely in accordance with the journal's publishing processes; they are not shared with third parties, used for commercial purposes, or processed for any other purpose.

This information is stored solely for use in the journal's article submission, evaluation, publication, and notification processes. Malumat commits to acting in accordance with national and international legislation on the protection of personal data (for example, the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 [KVKK] and the General Data Protection Regulation [GDPR]).

Users have the right to request the update or deletion of the information they provided during registration. Any requests related to privacy can be submitted to the editorial board through the journal's contact address.
