Aims & Scope
Malumat is a peer-reviewed journal published with the aim of bringing original research in the field of social sciences to the academic world, promoting the dissemination of academic thought, and encouraging the production of knowledge. The main aim of the journal is to provide a platform for theoretical and applied studies that address social structures, human behaviors, cultural dynamics, and political processes from a multifaceted perspective.
The journal prioritizes critical, innovative, and analytical studies that go beyond classical approaches, focusing on interdisciplinary interaction. In this direction, Malumat is open to contributions from disciplines such as economics, sociology, psychology, political science, public administration, anthropology, history, law, communication, philosophy, and cultural studies, which are the fundamental fields of social sciences. Additionally, studies that bridge these disciplines, thematic dossiers, and articles proposing solutions to current issues are also considered within the scope of the journal.
The journal aims to strengthen the relationship between academia and the field of practice by including not only theoretical discussions but also field research, case analyses, historical evaluations, methodological contributions, and policy-oriented studies. Advocating for the democratization of access to knowledge, Malumat publishes all its content under an open access policy and is committed to highlighting the socially beneficial aspect of the social sciences.
Additionally, Malumat sees supporting the work of young researchers and early-career academics and bringing them into the world of scientific publishing as an important mission. In this direction, it aims to create a qualified knowledge production environment both nationally and internationally by promoting academic diversity and inclusivity.
