The Malumat journal is published by the Social and Economic Perspective Association (SEPDER) with the aim of supporting academic production in the field of social sciences and bringing scientific knowledge to the public. SEPDER is a civil society organization with an independent and interdisciplinary structure, formed by the coming together of academics, practitioners, and experts working in the field of social policy.
The association adopts, as its primary goals, contributing to Turkey's social development, strengthening its socio-economic structure, and producing policies aimed at improving the living conditions of disadvantaged groups. In this context, SEPDER, while drawing on the wealth offered by historical and cultural heritage, focuses on developing innovative, sustainable, and inclusive solutions to contemporary social issues.
Among SEPDER's priorities are conducting scientific analyses of Turkey's social policy system, developing international collaborations, and elevating the country's experience in this field to a universal level. The association organizes academic events in line with this goal; it promotes knowledge production through workshops, symposiums, congresses, and research projects.
Published with this understanding, Malumat reflects SEPDER's commitment to openness in access to scientific knowledge, adherence to ethical principles in publication processes, and prioritization of academic quality. All processes conducted in the journal are carried out in accordance with the association's principles of transparency, impartiality, and academic merit.
