Writing Rules

All works submitted to the Malumat journal must comply with academic ethical principles, be original, provide scientific contributions, and not have been published or submitted for publication elsewhere. Applications that do not align with the journal's aims and scope are eliminated during the preliminary review process.
We can prepare the article texts in either Turkish or English. Both languages should strictly adhere to scientific expression rules, spelling, and writing standards. The language of the text should be clear, understandable, academic, and consistent in style.
Authors should prepare their works in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx) using the Times New Roman font, 12-point size, and 1.5 line spacing. Page margins should be 2.5 cm on all sides; no indentation should be given at the beginning of paragraphs, and a 6 nk space should be left between paragraphs. All pages must be numbered.
In the submitted works, there should be titles in both Turkish and English. Next, prepare separate abstract sections in both languages. The abstracts should be between 150 and 250 words ; they should clearly and simply express the purpose, method, main findings, and contribution of the study. Under the abstracts, there should be at least four and at most six keywords.
The article text should consist of the following sections: introduction, theoretical framework/literature, methodology, findings, discussion, and conclusion. However, you can adjust these headings based on the study's content. The author(s) should clearly substantiate their arguments and reference the data and sources used.
The text should contain tables, graphs, and figures, each numbered and titled appropriately. Provide an explanatory note immediately below each table or figure if necessary. We prefer tables and figures to be editable in Word.
Citation and bibliography formatting should be done according to the APA 7 (American Psychological Association) style. In-text citations should use the format (Author Last Name, Year); in multi-authored works, all authors should be listed in the first citation, and subsequent citations can be continued with "et al."
During the submission of the article, a "contribution statement" explaining the authors' contributions to the work should also be uploaded to the system. Additionally, declare any conflicts of interest, funding support (if any), and research/ethics committee approval (if necessary).
Articles that pass the editorial pre-review process are subjected to peer review. Applications that do not comply with the writing rules are returned or sent back to the author with a request for correction, regardless of the scientific content.
